I was bored and I thought of a little project to spend some of my extra money and time on. A helicopter with a .22 and rockets

^
But I have no clue about engineering or rc building in general. So here are some things I wanted to know:
-first of all, is it significantly cheaper to build an rc helicopter instead of buying?
-tutorial on how to build a mini .22 machine gun (smaller the better)
-a good quality camera that is small (like pen sized)
-how to make a small contact rocket with a big explosion
-how to move helicopter, .22, and rocket pod via 1 remote
-how to move .22 and rocket pod
-what materials would be best for keeping the helicopter stable during landing, takeoff, and firing.
-what materials would be best for fast landing and takeoff
I think that's enough for now. Performance wise this is what I'm going for:

If my first project goes well I may consider doing something such as this again on a larger scale:

Then I could move up to pvc rockets
Or if it goes really well then mount a .22 for the nose cannon strafing runs+carpet bombs
