Homefield advantage isn't a big factor here. The Packers came into Philadelphia week 1 and beat the Eagles.
Mike Vick has the chance to back up his comments from week 1, where he said if he played the whole game the Eagles would have won. The thing that worries me is the Eagles starters outside of the final 8 minutes or so against the Giants, have played 2 bad games.
The Packers "d" seemed fatigue after chasing Vick around for a quarter, that's been one of the Eagles strong points surprisingly. For a team that doesn't run the ball often, they wear down opposing teams defenses with their speed. If the Packs "d" shows signs of fatigue this Eagles team will jump all over them.
As an Eagles fan, I think they find a way to pull it out, but of all the opponents they could have played in the WC round the Packers are the one I wanted them to avoid. To be honest, outside of the Patriots, I like the Eagles chances to win.
I think if the Eagles can get past the packers they have a good chance of getting into the super Bowl this year. They get the west coast for their second game and would face Atlanta or the saints to get into the big one.
Once they are there, I would love to have another shot at New England.
With a quaterback who is not puking from exhaustion in the 3rd quarter.
