The Russians really wanted it more in the third. Canada was happy to try and hold the 3 , then 2 then 1 goal lead which obviously they could not. Simply put the coach from Russia out coached Dave Cameron in the third period. Nothing Cameron did could light a fire under the team and it was the end for our gold medal chance. If he had put Roy in after the 2 goals in 11 seconds it might have been enough to spark the boys but he calls a time out and tells the boys too calm down.

Not one of Russias goals were Visentines faults. Visentine was the only player who actually played decent in the 3rd. Its hard to stop pucks when you have no support from anyone else.
and yeah, we've defintley seen Roy play good in clutch situations right? The shootout, the super bad starts in every game... Yeah, real clutch.
I was hoping, but I knew Canada wasnt going to score just because of they way they were formed. More Physical then offencive, just like every QMJHL team. QMJHL teams get raped by WHL and OHL. Under 20 is all about offence, not much defence.

have you seen roy play? he might of not been good in the start, but when things are in clutch situations, hes good. the shootout, that was just bad. all the other places, he was good

Yes I have seen him Play. I saw him play Live just before the Tournament...
Roy had 1 good game, vs the Russians, though he had a terrible start in the 1st game. Vs CR he struggled and vs Sweeden he was downright terrible.
The whole tournement he wasnt in his prime and Visentine had 1 bad play the whole tournement.
Cameron would have looked silly pulling Visentine for a Cold, low confidence goalie, and I bet it would have been 6/7-3 if he did.
