I don't listen to that much 70's 80's 90's rock, im more of a metal/grindcore guy myself, i respect and admire those bands. And I respect you for not being another puppet in the music industry today, with all those shitty pop bands and emocore shit. Lets all troll the music business!

Well I listen to Journey, mostly because my dad is always blasting his songs in the car. Journey actually sounds good though.

80's tunes are quality. =D

I bet most of you in this thread just act as if you like older bands to seem "Original"
I enjoy some older songs but not many, and I dislike a majority of the newer music scene.

You can't beat the classic songs, these days music is all about fame, no skill, any idiot can play some beats then auto tune their voice and get big, its all self image, justin bieber is loved for his hair by 10 year old girls worldwide,katy perry is all makeup (she looks disgusting without it) and the list goes on.

I listen to all kinds of metal and some rock, they actually take skill, kids at my school go hey are you listening to your emo music RAWR RAWR RAWR (in a fail attempt at screaming) that music is shit, listen to music that normal people listen to
