That's right. Roy has quit the club through metual consent and has been replaced by danny dalglish.

The ex manager has been under immense pressure at the club following poor results leaving liverpool 12th in the premier leauge table just 4 points off he relegation zone. (not the liverpool we know)

Now he pressure has moved onto new manager Kenny Dalglish for tomorrows FA cup tie with Mancheser United at old trafford (C'MON UNITED)

In a statement on the club's website, principal owner John Henry said:

We are greatful of Roy's efforts over the past 6 months, but both parties thought it in the best intrests of the club that he stand down as club manager. We wish him all the best for the future

Being asked to manage LFC was a great privilege. Any manager would be honoured to manage a club with such incredable history such embedded tradition and such an amazing set of fans.

He went on

Liverpool is one of the greatest clubs in the world. I have however found the last few months the most challenging in my career. I thank those of whom I have built up a close working relationship for their loyality and support throught these tough times. Thank you

Well, The football results and score line is always the managers responsibility. Roy did infact fail as a liverpool manager. Liverpool are not the same team they were in 2005 when they won the champions leaugue. Now that he's gone it's kennys turn to see what he can do with the club.

Bad for Roy, Good for Kenny

At least I can fight
he quit cos he was gonna get sack anyway, so he thought he'd save the embarrasment and quit himself.

Not really. They asked him to stand down. And he did. Why else would he say
