When you get older, birthdays seem less and less important?

I don't even feel as happy lol..

Any oldies, does it get worse?

My last birthday was early December. My girlfriend was actually upset at me because I didn't want to go out with friends and family to celebrate. I feel similar to you. But I think its more of a mood thing. This year I just didn't feel like celebrating.

Well the Xhtistmas we just had, I'm normally up straight away, but not this time: I got up had breakfast, played some Ps3 then called my mates, funny thing is all my mates said the exact same, I actually enjoyed Christmas eve more..weird

Yeah you kind of lose the thrill when you get older. Remember in gradeschool when someone had a birthday it was a schoolwide event, but when you're 17 nobody really gives a shit.
But like those guys are saying the 18 and 21 landmark mean you get to party your ass off Winky Winky

Christmas just fealt like a normal day, just started drinking earlier. So yeah, the excitement really does go as you get older.
