For mods: I will be talking about CoD and BFBC so I was unsure where to post this.
Theres a 90% chance I will get flamed, but this just shows how many CoD fan-boys there are on this forum.
Before I start I want to say that I enjoy BOTH games, but over the last 2 days have preferred one of them.

Why BFBC2 Is better than Co
1. There is NO quick-scoping.
Quickscoping is NON realistic! Seriously, if in real life you had a Intervention and tried to quick scope it would kill you or you would be blind forever. Without QS it makes the game more realistic. A more realistic game = a better game.
2. Balances
In BFBC2 they update / fix gun, vehicle and equipment balances constantly with 'live fixes'. Now what have 3arc done about the really bad balances on CoD? Hmm lets see, they nerfed the AK74u... And thats it.
3. LAG LAG AND LAG
BFBC2 has dedicated servers, meaning no hosts. No hosts = NO LAG.
I have played BFBC2 for over a YEAR now and I have NEVER experienced 1 second of lag! On MW2 and BO I have lagged under the map, now thats bad.. My connection is 20mbps so I have a good connection...
4. Gravity
If you have ever played BFBC2, if your using a recon class (That's a sniper class for you CoD fan-boys) You will notice that you have to aim sligtly higher than your target if your shooting long distance, this is because of a MAGICAL thing called gravity.. This pulls your bullet down, It also means you have to shoot your rockets higher than your target. Because of GRAVITY
5. Destructible environment
This adds to the realism of the game... You can blow up anything you see!
I bet the 3arc didn't add a distributable environment because they were scared it would lag out too much. ahahah
6. Vehicles
Yes you drive a quad bike, Humvee, loads of helicopters, and loads of tanks on multilayer! Now lets see what can you drive on the CoD series... Umm a bike on campaign... HA
7. Team work
Teamwork in BFBC2 is a MUST! If you don't work as a team you WILL lose. This adds to the game realism, because on CoD you just run around separately with NO teamwork or cooperation!
8. Camping
On BFBC2 there is no camping! the map is so huge its pointless to camp..
And CoD ever second corner you turn you see a guy camping with a claymore or a heartbeat sensor...
9. Hacks...
All the CoD's have been hacked and modded. There is not ONE mod or hack for BFBC2. This makes the game legit enjoyable and FUN!
10. Overall game feel
CoD just feels fake.. because yeah your really gonna get shot with a sniper and then go to last stand kill the guy who shot you and then get up 30 seconds later.. CoD its more of a cartoon game if you know what I mean...
BFBC2 just feels real, there is not one aspect of BF that I can think of that makes it less of a joy to play or less realistic.

In my opinion, BFBC2 is a better game than Black Ops. If IW was to make a CoD4 with better graphics and different maps it would be a different story.
Keeping all this in mind, this is why I say BFBC2 is better than Black Ops.

I had 25+ Days on CoD4. And alot with the rest of the games in the series.
When I first got BFBC2, I said "This blows major dick." I was super clunky and my character couldn't even jump 2 inches off the ground.
And then it hit me! This isn't Call of Duty, or Halo, it's Battlefield Bad Company 2. The game really grew on me and made me see the flaws in other CoD games and other games in general.
Call of Duty and BF are the same genres but two different games entirely. They both have their own qualities, but I have come to prefer BF more. This is just my opinion, and this thread is your opinion. Some people enjoy lagging out all of the time and getting owned by a 74u every game.

Everything apart from this I like. I love to snipe and QS for me is a big part of sniping. Black ops has been a let down ONLY because treyarch made it, if IW made it the maps would be balanced (no sniping spots on ANY BO map) you would get the decent guns first (no meaning if your a low level your guns are shit) and we would of had fun playing it.

Although I prefer the Battlefield franchise over anything Call of Duty related, I still say that no game/console is better than another.
You can provide tons of factual evidence, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll change someone's opinion.
With that said, great opinion piece, at least you can back yours up. Unlike the mass amount of CoD fanboys that have no clue what they're talking about. Call of Duty isn't perfect. (Neither is BFBC2, but you make a valid point). Especially the "Battlefield has no action" guy, I mean... really? Someone obviously hasn't played it, or hasn't played it right.

And you have to get headshot with sniper to kill someone, through in hardcore there's more camping, but still MUCH less than on CoD's

I agree with this 100%, I just can't describe that feeling when first played BC2 with friends (squad). It was awesome then and it's awesome now.
I recommend BC2 Vietnam to everyone, it's so awesome that I got 7 gold stars in AK-47 in couple weeks.
Only downpoint is that camping in hardcore and when playing without friends, if I'm honest without friends that have mic, the game is boring, but with friends it's AWESOME.
