Usually I just take pictures off the internet and edit them but now I have decided to use my own pictures, meaning I need a new camera.

I used my friends Canon 7D and fell in love. I also was amazed with his Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L II lens

The price to get this would be way out of my budget for a first dslr so I decided to get the Canon T2i, along with the 18-55 is lens. It cost me about $800 which isn't that bad considering the quality of the camera!

So what camera do you have? What kind of pictures do you prefer(landscape, wildlife, etc)? Do you edit?

i am no photographer, but i have took one pretty nice picture of a flower outside of guidis house, i think that you you spell guidi, i think it could sell, but idk what too do with it, i am only 14, but everyone has said its a really pretty picture lmao

Nice, my dad has some cheap camera and he got 2 pictures published in a magazine, alot of times its the photographer and not the camera.

Intrested in 3d atm

I have a camera. It's a shit one but does for a first one. I have a nikon D3000. Too much noise at ISO 800. Have the kit lens 18-55 and a 55-200mm. Looking to get either a 35mm or 50mm 1.8 prime lens. I have read from people who have bought one that they haven't taken them off their cameras since the first used it. They are meant to be THAT good. Thing is though that cos I have a crop sensor I need a DX lens. If I get the 50 1.8 it would end up at like 75mm. So I'd have to get the 50 1.4 or 35 1.8 DX to get the proper focal length. I have a mate who takes pics at gigs. He's getting a lot better. Looking to follow him into once I have some more money for the lens. Only thing is though is the noise I get at 800. It is quite bad but hopefully noise reduction will work ok. I'll have to see when I can afford and get the lens. Also want to get into landscape, but gonna do that when I get a car for the obvious reason I can go places. Gonna stick to Nikon though. Not spending shit loads of money on lenses to have to sell them for canon shit. Only thing is the forum I use most is mostly for Canon, so I end up with more knowledge on them rather than Nikon, which isn't helpful. Would also like to get a SB-600 speed light. Then I can try my hand at portrait photog too.

Hey man, heres what I recommended, get the T2i. From what I've seen its rated the best dslr for the price. Its just a smaller version of the 7d with a slower shutter speed. You can get one second hand for around $700(including 18-55 kit lens). Then get a nice telephoto lens, like the Tamron 18-270. After that get the 50mm 1.8 or 1.4. The 50mm is a WONDERFUL lens, but it has no range.

Photography is expensive, but once you have this /\ your on your way to some wonderful pictures!
