It was confirmed today that season four of the hit show will definitely take place in Italy. Production for the next part of the series will begin in the spring and is set to air later this year. According to the press release, while in Europe the Jersey Shore cast will visit cast member Vinny Guadagnino’s family and trade-in “gorillas for Italian stallions.”

According to our friends at MTV, the show’s producers have been working for the past few months to secure visa’s for the crew to shoot season 4 overseas! Of course there’s still a lot to be worked out… like renewing their contracts and getting the country of Italy to allow these crazy mofo’s over there!

"The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can't wait to see what erupts as a result," he added.
