Yea considering most of the money( look at the money page last picture from the bottom) its mostly US dollars americans are the ones that provide most of the money look at the little bit of pesos on the front (Pesos = mexican currency) so legalizing marijuana would help cut down on the crime

The 40th richest man in the world is El Chapo who happens to be the leader of Mexico's biggest drug cartel. Imagine if that money was being funneled through the Mexican economy, they'd be much better off legalizing it.

I support legalization of marijuana, but it wouldn't decrease the amount of drug cartels and their activity because the profit margin is higher with drugs like cocaine, heroin and opium which are the main drugs they smuggle in. You would have to legalize ALL drugs to stop them.
