Being a female who enjoys gaming has got to be a difficult proposition. Guys, as in most group situations, act way differently when a female is around. You have guys that act like a creeper and hits on the girl inappropriately. Then there’s the creeper that likes to follow the girl around and “protect” them… Oh yeah, there’s more. The worst though are the dickheads that go freaking crazy when they lose, or are killed by a female gamer online. These guys like to send nasty messages to the female gamer and harass them for being female and playing video games…

I found this by accident on Twitter, through a retweet and I just had to check it out. First off, credit to these people for tackling the subject of online douchebaggery. It’s a pet project of mine that, unfortunately, I end up tackling on the micro level with the socially awkward racists I find on Codblops. Here, these ladies (I’m presuming they’re women that run the site, I don’t know) take it to the next level.

I ignore chicks when they play black ops with me. I hate the attention they bring and it just turns the game into something stupid. No offense to the girl gamers out there. I play with a lot of girl gamers but I always tell them to either mute everyone who is not in the party or dont put their mic on.

It really bothers me when I bring my gaming friends who are chicks into a party with me and random people from my friends list bother her with stupid comments.

Instead of acting like the 90 percent of ngu, agreeing with you and saying "This is wrong", ill really say how i feel-"Go make me a sandwich please."
