Personally, I'm for it, depending on the situation.
Say you're a silly little 16-year old girl. You're loving life, you have a great boyfriend, you're graduating pretty soon, life is great. Suddenly, you realize you're late on your period, and then everything starts going downhill. You take a pregnancy test, it's positive. Your world starts to fall down around you.
Your boyfriend leaves you, leaving you alone to deal with it yourself. Your parents deny any responsibility, saying it's your problem. Evidently, you can't attend the rest of high school due to an infant, you never graduate, and are stuck on minimum wage jobs for a majority of your life. Where I live in Newfoundland, this story is far too common, and could easily be prevented.
Yeah, sounds pretty ridiculous, but in fact that story is far too common. I support abortion in scenarios like above, because if the said girl had gotten one, she'd increase her chances of succeeding in life exponentially. If someone is pregnant in highschool, or pretty much at any young age, she should be presented the option of abortion because seriously, being a teenager is stressful enough as it is. Most people should realize, we wouldn't be having this debate in the first place if 2 consenting individuals weren't stupid and used contraceptive methods in the first place.
To the people who use the human "soul" as an argument for pro-life, who's to say when life truly begins? Who's to say when the soul enters the fetus, or in fact, if there's even a soul at all? Nobody knows, so it's kind of bogus to solidify your argument on false pretenses.

Yup i am against condoms! The sole purpose of sex is to create life; like you said, condoms deny that.

A fetus isn't a person, it's a potential life. And a fetus from rape is a potential life forcefully shoved into the body of an unwilling woman. Forgive me if I think the woman should be able to decide whether or not she wants to keep a constant reminder of a terrible experience.
She can give the child up for adoption if she can't bear to live with it, but she, as the child-bearer, is responsible for another person's life; issuing an execution for that person is not being responsible.

Why should you have sex if you aren't creating a child? If you aren't, both mentally and objectively, to have a child, do not risk it! Ya do know there are other things you can do than having sex, right?

Well of course we would be biased in that sense! Whats the point of living if you don't appreciate it? "The thing is, everyone is concerned with the child's life, except for the child." What? How does that even make sense man? Can you really show that the kid doesn't care? Of course humans are going to believe life is amazing; its all we can experience and communicate with each other. If I were to die right now, it may be fantastic but I have no way of telling you that. Do you enjoy your life? I know I certainly do. So why should someone be denied the most basic right; the right to life?
I could go off on a tangent and say that the Declaration of Independence, the most basic foundation of our nation, because of its wording, actually is pro-life. But nah... I don't feel like trying to argue that.
At the end of the day man, we're just having a debate. Stay cooled off - no need to get angry. You can believe whatever you want to believe! I don't mean to force anything on you. I'm just stating what I, myself, believe. Peace
