I think it was an honest mistake.

They don't just pick someone the day before the game. I'm sure she rehearsed alot, practiced. I'm sure it was just a simple mistake.

Kinda like when you're saying something and you want to say something, but RIGHT before you say it you think of a different word to say and end up saying both of them together. :/

She could've just simply let her mind wonder for a second or something.
