Don't buy a paintball gun, buy an airsoft gun. They're usually more painful, look cooler and are a lot cheaper (as well as the rounds).

I prefer DYE Precision markers myself, I have a DM6 I bought brand new ad it works fanastic to this day, with the ability to ramp up to 29 RPS. I also own 2 Tippmann98 customs and a Tippmann X7 I like them all but they have different uses.

DM6 is a Speed ball marker, and good in scenario paintball to make people keep thre heads down so your tam can move up.

The Tippmanns are great for Scenario Paintball and with little modifications can be reasonably most accurate.
