(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Lately, I've been noticing all the bull shit music that a lot of people listen to which they consider "Rap." When in reality, it's just some dance song, or somebody talking about money. That's mostly like pop or hip hop. Though even hip hop is shameful today :n: Anyways, I decided to make a thread including some of my favorite artist that actually do real rap. By that, I mean song with dope lyrics, about something other than money and bitches.

Also, this list is made from who I like and listen to, if you guys have anybody that's worthy, I'll be happy to add them.

*I have a lot more artist that I will add later on*

I know who 2pac, Biggie, Big Pun, Nas...etc.. is.. Their not on the list because their well known. Not a lot of people know these types of rappers because their more underground based.

Felipe Andres Coronel (born February 19, 1978 ), better known by the stage name Immortal Technique, is an American rapper of Afro-Peruvian descent as well as an urban activist. He was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Harlem, New York. Most of his lyrics focus on controversial issues in global politics. The views expressed in his lyrics are largely a mixture of socialist commentary on issues such as class hierarchy, poverty, religion, government and institutional racism. Immortal Technique has voiced a desire to retain control over his production, and has stated in his music that record companies, not artists themselves, profit the most from mass production and marketing of music. He claimed in an interview to have sold close to 200,000 copies of his three official releases.

Jedi Mind Tricks (JMT) is a hip hop Trio with "Vinnie Paz" and "Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind" from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and "Jus Allah" from Camden, New Jersey. DJ Kwestion is also a part of the group, mainly scratching choruses on the turntable. Kwestion (or Kwes) is also a part of the group Skratch Makaniks. Kwestion was a replacement for JMT's previous tour DJ, Drew Dollars, who is no longer affiliated with the group.
JMT has collaborations with both regional MCs and rap veterans, including GZA, Kool G Rap, 7L & Esoteric, Sean Price, Ras Kass, Canibus, Percee P, Killah Priest, Immortal Technique, Virtuoso, Louis Logic, R.A. the Rugged Man, Tragedy Khadafi, and Ill Bill. Micheal Larse (November 9, 1981 – October 16, 2010), known by his stage name Eyedea, was a well-known freestyle battle champion and underground rapper. His notable wins included the televised Blaze Battle sponsored by HBO (2000) and a victory at Scribble Jam (1999). He had appeared as a solo artist, and as the emcee half of the duo Eyedea & Abilities (along with longtime friend and collaborator DJ Abilities). His non-battle rhymes were generally philosophically or thematically based, and often told a definite narrative.

*I can't add anymore pictures so from now on, I'm only going to add the artist and a few songs*

Eyedea is amazing guys, you guys should DEFINITELY CHECK HIM OUT! Sad to know such a lyrical legend has died.
