(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so 2 years ago my dad bought a phone on a contract which had no signal at his work so he gave it to me after a year of him paying the bill i changed it so i was paying the 40 quid a month roughly and it only had a year left on the contract so just after xmas i phoned to make sure the contract was cancelled and was waiting till my birthday to get my own contract as i was turning 18 the phone my dad gave me WAS canceled as i couldnt do anything with it nor even start it with the contract sim car in it so that was christmas last year. i have not had a letter,phone call nothing from them since about this old phone.so i recently startd up my internet banking and decieded to see how far back it went through my bank trancactions and found for the past year o2(company on which the phone my dad gave me was with) had still been taking the £40 out my bank account and on 2 occacstions had took £80 out for 2 months in a row.i hadnt noticed this as i got a fair amount of money for my birthday but adding all the bills from o2 up its around the £500 region...i contacted o2 and told them what happened and they have said theres nothing that can be done as i didnt contact them (which i did) and said basically theres a slim chance i would see my money back.
can anyone help me with this or advise me what to do/say?
my dad is currently away with work business so him being the person that took the contract out with them cant do anything till he gets back and i want this sorted ASAP
please any advise you have
