I would gather non perishable foods, and really good perishable foods, a few animals a couple lighters, A LOT of clothes and gas and wood and live in a house with a basement. I would survive.

why would you need A LOT of clothes....it's not like you're gonna be going out and need to look good during a "nuclear winter"

To stay warm noob. The debris from the blast would fill the atmosphere and block the sun. Thus killing all plants, most animals, and it would be really, really cold.

weeeeeeelll, seeing how i work at a health care facility, I would probably bunker in there. Place has a generato, medicine and food, which can last for a year. Pus due to the cold weathe rht efood would last longer. in theory.
