Horrible, What has happened is so wrong, But it was a natrual, No one could of prevented it.

Its a shame.
But personally i believe karma played a roll in this.
The Nuclear power station Fukishima 1 was meant to of closed down last year and replaced, but the Japanese government let the plant stay an extra year.
