A while ago Nintendo released info that the 3DS may lead to eye fatigue. Now though, experts believe the 3DS may have some optical benefits. According to optometrists, the Nintendo 3DS can help evaluate the eyesight in youth but, other people in the health community believe this is just speculation.
If you put the 3DS in the hands of children under six years old and then analyze their reactions to the 3D screen, you can help catch any vision disorders early on and find solutions for it. Wonder how it works? If a child is not able to see the 3D, it can be possible that the child has a lazy eye(amblyopia). It could also help find less noticeable issues like a problem that could cause reading difficulties.
The 3DS will be released in the North America March 27th for $250 and in the U.K it will be released at March 25th for £187.00. (Prices and dates found at Amazon).

haha nice sig. But seriously, doesn't watching 3D graphics (like TV, Movie form) without the glasses 'exploit' your eyes into thinking its 3D? I fear this is just a promotion skint from Nintendo and they bribed opticians or whatever to sell the DS as they spent millions designing it. Anyway thats my Opinion.
