Just found this out so I thought I would share.

If you have DirecTV and an HD DVR that is connected to the internet follow these steps to search on Youtube.

1. Press the Menu Button
2. Scroll down to Smart Search and press Enter
3. Enter what you are wanting to search for
4. Go over and scroll down till you see Youtube and press Enter
5. Now you can scroll through all the videos and click Enter on the one you like.


How to save with DirecTV

This involves 2 houses.

Lets say your Parents have DirecTV and you just moved out.
So you call up DTV and they say its gonna be 50 a month for satellite, even if you brought your receiver from your parents house.
Well look on craigslist for a sat. tech looking for some side work and call him up. You can tell him that you want him to install a satellite at your house/apartment. This way you will just have to pay him like 75 once (Just an estimate) instead of 50 a month. You will be on your parents account and theres no way DirecTV can find out. You can also just buy more receivers and hook them up and it will only be 5 dollars more a month so you can pretty much get 4 receivers at your house and pay your parents 20 Bucks a month.
