There’s a strange phenomenon that happens in the world of dating that once someone is no longer single, they suddenly become more interesting. Even if you wear the same Star Wars shirt four days in a row, once you’re “taken,” you’re suddenly on several people’s radars you didn’t know about before!


In order to capitalize on that occurrence when you’re still single, there’s a new site out there where you can create your perfect dream girl and attract other women in the process. It’s not to the level of ‘Weird Science’ yet, but it’s a step in the horribly wrong direction: “You must login or register to view this content..”


Here’s how it works:

• Step 1: Define your perfect girlfriend. (Hint: It’s the author of this article)
  
• Step 2: We bring her into existence. (Hint: I already exist, but I’m not available, so this is your alternative)
  
• Step 3: Connect and interact with her publicly on your favorite social network.
  
• Step 4: Enjoy a public long distance relationship with your perfect girl.
  
• Step 5: Finally lose your virginity! … Just kidding, this isn’t actually listed on the official site, but I’m sure they’re implying it!
  

The whole purpose of this site is to make it appear as though you are in a loving relationship so you can attract the eyes of potential lovers out there constantly checking your Facebook wall. By having your “perfect girlfriend” publicly interact with you; it should make other women jealous. That jealousy will hopefully lead to them having the courage to make a move on you (since, apparently, you’re not capable of interacting with women on your own) so a romance can flourish!


Although this service violates Facebook’s Terms of Service that specifically states “You must login or register to view this content.,” I’m sure they’ll find a way around that. And before you roll your eyes and ask yourselves, “who the heck is this desperate?” there’s a message on the site that states:

They’re both not the same product, but it just goes to show that there is a market out there for those that are unable to interact with women on their own and need the help of the internet to do some of the work.


With sites like You must login or register to view this content. and stories where You must login or register to view this content., I’m starting to fear what technology is doing to some people’s brains.


UPDATE: Thanks to head’s up by nasdat, it looks like “Cloud Girlfriend” will be You must login or register to view this content.. There’s still some issue with Facebook’s terms and conditions though, but aren’t you glad you can actually interact with a real person… getting paid to be your fake girlfriend – with none of the good benefits?Oh, and if you get lonely, there’s a hotline you can call too! But the co-founder stresses it’s not an adult chat or porn service.
