still the same OG, but I've been low key

I don't need a life counselor and no one needs to know what happened to me in my childhood. I don't want to be interviewed, if I needed to sort out my life issues, I'd apply for a spot on Dr. Phil.

All of you posters out there who like to post everyday in a huge block of quoted text or a "new super exciting fantastic" competition thread, stop. I don't come here to be interviewed or enter to a meaningless competition. I come here for a general discussion. Is that too much to ask?

Make threads regarding mature topics, take pride in your work and cease creating threads for the sole purpose of getting your name out.

It will not help you get mod.
It will not earn you +rep.
It will not make you more popular.
It will not get you news.
It will aggravate everyone who is more mature than a twelve year old.

Although I agree there's a lot of BS in this section, I kinda disagree too. Reason is, just about everything "mature-discussion"-wise could just as easily be posted in the debate section.

Also, I'm sick of seeing people thinking they're being mature by posting threads about how great drugs are. They're not great; you're not cool; give up.

Well put TLKOG.
I am really getting tired of threads asking me questions I can answer in one word, they are just a waste of time.
And as DEREK said, disabling post count and rep would stop the useless threads for sure.

If I wanna see some news, I'd go to CNN or turn on my TV. If I wanted to be asked personal questions about my life or what the **** I had for dinner, I wouldn't come to GD and express my feelings. But sadly, now, that is what GD is for. Nosey ass people making threads trying to get to 'know' us. I bet if I go ask what they learned about me through the pointless threads made, I'm sure they won't know shit. They do it for the sake of posting and getting rep, it's ****n retarded. Again, CNN for world news if I wanna be educated and a counselor or a therapist if I wanna talk about my life.
