PM David Cameron sparked a fresh defence row yesterday by splurging £650million he's saving in Forces cuts on schools in Pakistan.
He pledged the giant sum to pay for 90,000 new teachers and get four million poor Pakistani children into school.

It is the UK's biggest ever overseas aid education project - but the move sparked fury among the British public.

Mr Cameron insisted during a bridge-building trip to Pakistan's capital Islamabad that the package will help tackle extremism in the conflict-riddled country AND Britain too.

But the cash is enough to have kept the RAF's Harrier jump jets flying for the next four years.

Or it could have saved some of the 17,000 Forces jobs being axed in a bid to save £5billion by 2015.

Outraged Sun readers voiced their anger at the move with hundreds leaving messages on our MySun forums.

Berrywhite said: "He has got it so wrong this time, I have backed him and agreed with him understanding that he had a tough job to sort out the mess but this is a step too far, he has lost touch with reality, and being led by that idiot Clegg."

Baneek said: "It's nice to know my taxes are going towards schools in Pakistan, whilst my local library that my nieces and nephews use is closing down due to cuts."
And DontheDiver added: "As much as I support David Cameron and his party I cannot support the "give away" of £650million to Pakistan.

"Even if the funds would end up where they should, which is highly doubtful, I would still be 100 per cent against this grant.

"I appreciate that there is a desperate need to increase schooling in Pakistan but not at the cost of what it takes away from the UK. As somebody posted so rightly, charity begins at home!"

It also emerged that, while taking British cash saved by OUR defence cuts, Pakistan's leaders are spending a fortune building up THEIR military.

They are buying 36 Chinese J-10 fighter jets in a deal worth £860million, and ordering six submarines from Beijing as well - at a cost of £140million each.
In total it comes to an eye-watering £1.7billion.

In a second controversial step, the PM agreed a surprise deal to hand over British military secrets to help Pakistan tackle roadside bombs.

Yet he alarmingly ducked questions on whether he was sure rogue Pakistani spies wouldn't betray the closely-guarded data to the Taliban in neighbouring Afghanistan.

Both pledges were part of a wide-ranging treaty signed by the PM and his opposite number in Islamabad, Yousuf Raza Gilani.

Mr Cameron insisted a more impoverished Pakistan would raise the threat of extremist attacks in Britain AND open up a new flood of illegal immigrants to the UK.

He said: "I'd struggle to find an example of a country that is more in our interests to see progress and succeed than Pakistan."

But furious Tory backbench MP Philip Davies said: "If they can afford submarines they can afford to educate their own people."

Military experts said that the £650million would fund 4,000 British infantry privates for FIVE years.

Or pay for 25 deadly Apache attack helicopters AND train the pilots to fly them.

Sun security adviser and SAS legend Andy McNab warned that corruption in Pakistan would mean some of the aid money being "funnelled to the people laying the bombs and shooting the weapons against British troops in Afghanistan".

He's wasting enough money on this pointless war in Libya, but it's alright because he (Cameron) still gets paid the same at the end of the day...

It's disguisting. Pakistan have enough money to fund their sports teams but they cannot fund their education. David Cameroon has been nothing but a prick so far, everything he has done has affected my life. I usually have a chicken burger at school that used to be £1, now after easter they are going up to £1.50 because of rising prices and taxes. It's a disgrace. If a party like BNP came in that wasn't anti-black (my best freind is black, his dad is jamacian and works for the metropolian police and his mother is english), i'd happily want to vote for them. There are millions of eastern europians who scrounge off our benefits to buy alcohol and drugs whilst my dad works 7 days a week as a paramdic saving people's lives then gets docked so the government can pay for their fking benefits. Disgrace.

That new world order shizzle, in 2013, hopefully that will be something like 'work or execution'. It's not fair that my dad has to work and a scrounging **** doesn't have to. Ok if your disabled it's fair, but doing what they do, is disguisting.

Whilst they're better than the ****s we have in atm, I really dislike certain things about them. An example is how they hate homosexuals, they seem to have forgotten this is the 21st century.

Although given the choice as things are right now I'd always go BNP, primarily because their way of handling things is the only way to get this once great country back to how it should be. Right now it's a total mess, and doing things like this got us like that.
