Ever wanted to know how to make free HD videos when your using Hyper-cam, or any other screen recorder? Well, I'm going to show you how today, and I have a few pictures/screenshots to also help you out. It's not just a only text guide. So it will make it easier, in stead of sitting their and reading.

First, get out your screen-recorder, I use Hypercam. If you don't have a screen-recorder, I suggest going on google and search Hypercam download. Hypercam is free, but their is a Premuim version.

Now, once your Hypercam program or any-other screen recorder is opened, take the video you want, and then stop the recording. Now that you have the video, open up the following program: Windows Movie Maker

Windows Movie Maker is on all computers, I believe. That is what I know of, if you don't have it, then I don't know what to do. Maybe you can search google for your problem, or you can try downloading it.

Now, once you have Windows Movie Maker open, put in the clip/video you recorder with your screen recording program, like Hyper-cam. Once it's in their, add all the effects you want, etc.

When your ready to Publish, go to the tab at the top of the window that says: Tools - Click it, and then go down to Options, and click the Options button.

Find the option, Video format, make sure the little dot is on the option: NTSC - Make sure you do not have the little blue dot on Pal, or your video options will not work! Now look right below Video Format and you'll see the option: Aspect Radio - Make sure the little blue dot is on 16:9 - And not 4:3.

Now, click the OK button at the bottom of the options window. The box will close, and your nearly done with the guide now. On the left, you'll see the box: Publish to- - Click Publish to this computer - And now you can put in the name of your video. And save it to your desktop, or any other place you like to save your videos.

Now, click next, and their will be a title that says: Choose the settings for your movie - Look down the list of options until you see the option: More settings ( It has a list box right by it ) - Once you see this option, click the blue dot button to the left of it.

Now, click the little arrow that is pointing down, and select the following option out of the list: Windows Media HD 720p (5.9 Mbps) - Select this option, and then wait for your video to publish, and now you have a HD video! ^

PLEASE READ THIS: If you use YouTube download, or you download videos from youtube, and you try and change their quality with this trick, it will not work. You can only change the quality of the videos you have made, and the videos your recorded yourself. I don't know why it does this, it's just a fact. I've tried many times. For example, you download a COD5 video from youtube, and it has crappy quality. You put it in Windows Movie Maker, and publish it as HD. It will still be the same crappy quality.

After publishing ( Optional )

I'm sure most of you know this, so thats why this is optional. But, after you publish your new HD video, you can upload it to Youtube or AniBoom. AniBoom is a site like Youtube, but a little diffrent.

You can use AniBoom at: You must login or register to view this content. ( AniBoom is like youtube, but it has a good amount of Animation videos, like cartoons. But you can still use AniBoom for uploading your videos, just like youtube. )

So thanks for using my guide and taking your time to read it, to the people who actually did do this, anyways. I hope everyone enjoyed learning new ways to make HD videos, and this has only been tested on Vista, so I know it works on Vista. I have a Vista Computer myself.

Its a nice idea but the basic quality of hypercam isn't good -__- I prefeer Sony Vegas then Movie Maker, Thanks BTW ^^

use Fraps or Sony vegas for rendering HD

lol so what you mean is resizing the video to HD, not actually? it is still the same quality

i have tried this when I just use my camera to capture some mw2 game play and then i do as you say but it doesn't give option of 720p or any HD only 480p

Guys, I don't care if you have other programs to make HD, I do to. But this is for the people that can't afford to purchase those programs.

Are you doing everything EXACTLY like I said? On my example, it gives you an option of 720P (HD) on YouTube, and it should give you that option to.
