Just when you thought you’ve heard and seen it all here’s a new device that makes the predator spy planes look like a toy. The all new Seagull Robot Spy Drone has been created.
These robots have the capability of looking and flying just like a real bird. The new Smart Bird is capable of lifting off the ground by itself by flapping it’s wings. It can glide and sail just like a real bird and only uses 25 watts.

In a earlier test flight of a similar prototype it was able to fly for 150 meters. Since then they have redesigned the bird giving it a more powerfull motor, lighter but more powerful battery life, and a much lighter construction which consists of carbon-fiber and sensitive control electronics weighing in at a mere .450kg.
This bird will have the capability of having a pilot to navigate and control the flight with camera’s to use to see and spy on below objects. With more advanced designs of the bird on the way they hope to create a Smart Bird that can fly several miles without needing a recharge.
So the next time you’re out bird watching, walking, planting some corn, or sitting in your backyard pull your binoculars out to double check that you’re not being spied on by your own government with robotic birds.

Yeah we have satellites than can capture images so clear, it can read the letters of a newspaper. You really think you'll know if you're being monitored? The NSA can monitor ANYONE. Under the Patriot Act you forfeit that right to privacy.

People are naive if you really think that these types of machines haven't been around for years.

What practical application would that have. Im sure the middle east isn't a very suitable climate for seagulls if they're planning on using this on terrorists.
