But let's get to the point. At this moment out of the 267, there are 18 in the shoutbox. (Yes, I know people look at threads etc)

So I was thinking. Those who don't visit the shoutbox. What are your reasons? In my opinion, you should drop on by. :hug: But don't come and spam.

So please state your reasons in this thread, or, drop on by and introduce yourself. :y:

I do not feel the need to jump in other people conversatino. People will just ignore you if they do not know you.

I just stay in the forums, and give people information/help.

Some people worry too much about being "talked too" in the sb. It's not as fun as you think :p

Key to the shoutbox is to just go with the flow of the conversation and have fun. Don't care about talking to someone specifically or if MemberX says "hi" to you.

Have fun, don't be a dick, and someone will eventually notice something you said

I agree with "i like turtles", nobody ever talks to you in the sb, I just stay in the general discussion section now as i have grown out of gaming, but don't want to leave NGU.

Sometimes it is hard to hold a convo in the sb and other times you're just ignored...

I do visit the shoutbox but 19/20 shouts are just ignored.:fa:
For example I asked earlier in the shoutbox "is PSN back up yet?" and I was completely ignored. About 2 minutes later iDelete visited and asked the same question to which he got 10 answers.

So that is Y I NO visit the shoutbox anymore, and I'm sure that is the same case for many people. :bye:

They are most likely scared?

I think it's because of our ranking system, per say. Non premiums get ignored daily, so it doesn't really give them a reason to go into the shout box. Out of all the members online, I'm assuming a majority are non premium, new members. Meaning, they need more posts to see the shoutbox in the first place, and once they finally get in, they get ignored :n: The SB, now, is full of people asking for rep or some immature talks about something completely pointless and unrealistic.
