i would have to say call of duty 4: modern warfare since there was no spawn killing by killstreaks, and everything seemed to be more balanced back in those days.

For Purism, i would say Modern Warfare.
But MW2 was the best for total addiction.
Could NOT put that game down, probably why I burnt out on BO so fast.
