I like this comment by Cobra-D in early June of 08 on how people will know if they have been selected: When you see peoples name turn blue, then you will know. Things ever really change?

The site didn't start after you joined a year ago and anyone with over 20k in rep should know everyone on that list, except maybe three.
All are currently active except Da-Legend and Dirty Dude( who was recently banned).
Are you saying you do not know who are Luke, Oc-log, AgentJonBotz, DirtyDudeOnline, Ronald, +Ta-Element, Maddenking, Favo, and Ritchie209 ???
And only Whitey's data is gone, that I know of. There is also the staff list linked ,when you joined the site a year ago.
Maybe the first 2 yrs on NGU were useless to you and only what has happened since you joined is important, but there are some here, before you joined and some after, that would like to see what was happening then compared to now.
