Messi is better by far

messi imo messi is probably the best footballer this world has EVER seen

IMO Ronaldo is actually better, because Messi looks quite out of place in weak teams whereas Ronaldo always seems to be able to carry his team all by himself.

Aside from that it's difficult to choose, they're both fantastic footballers.

Messi because he loves the game and doesnt dive or anything. Plus he doesnt have to do stepovers to take on people, he just runs past everyone. It's awesome to watch him play. Ronaldo is v.good, im not denying that but messi is better imo

messi hands down. Technique wise I'd agree that both are a benchmark against which other players are judged, but I find I enjoy watching Messi play over CR, and he seems to enjoy playing more.
