Like's dont count to Rep, this can be good. For example if somebody helps someone they will click the Thanks button and give them +5 Rep. If someone just agrees with a post they can 'Like' the post, but it doesn't deserve the rep.

Well that's what I think it's for, not entirely sure

I don't think there should be as some people mistake it for the thanks button. But I do think we should keep it in the forum suggestions section so that we can still see who likes the idea but the OP doesn't get rep for it! :y:

There already is a like button. Maybe this was added after this thread was seen my a mod or something then :p

I use it a lot because of the reason Inferno_Ace mentioned
But, I still thank posts too Happy
So, yes, I think the addition of the like button was good
