Osama Bin Laden Dead Details

As many of you may know now, the villain known as Osama Bin Laden, is now dead. Here are the details of this episode of American and world history that will surely, not be forgotten. To all the mods, before closing this consider the fact that it's really detailed and should answer most the questions about this. Thank you.

How he died
Osama Bin Laden was killed by US troops on the ground in a fire fight. He was shot at least once in the head. The US now has custody of his body and can confirm he's dead. The president authorised an operation to "get Bin Laden" last week, he said, and on Sunday a small team of US forces undertook the operation. The US first received this intelligence in August 2010.

Osama Bin Laden Bio *Wikipedia*
Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden; March 10, 1957 – ca. April 24, 2011; announced May 1, 2011) was a member of the wealthy Saudi bin Laden family and the founder of the jihadist terrorist organization al-Qaeda, most widely recognized for the September 11 attacks on the United States and numerous other mass-casualty attacks against civilian and military targets. As a result of his dealings in and advocacy of violent extremist jihad, Osama bin Laden lost his Saudi citizenship and was disowned by his billionaire family.

Bin Laden was on the American Federal Bureau of Investigation's lists of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and Most Wanted Terrorists due to his involvement in the 1998 US embassy bombings.

Since 2001, Osama bin Laden and his organization had been major targets of the U.S. War on Terror. Bin Laden and fellow al-Qaeda leaders were believed to be hiding near the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas. On May 1, 2011, U.S. President Barack Obama announced on national television that bin Laden had been killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan[6][7] and that his body was in U.S. custody

Obama Speech Regarding Osama

What the Future Holds
Surely at the death of their leader Osama Bin Laden, al-Qaeda has to be enraged. We don't know what the future exactly holds but the terrorist group will most certainly be seeking their revenge. US secret services and defenses should be on alert more than ever now.

To All
This is one big step against the war on terrorism, but surely not the last. The US and others will continue their fight on terrorism to bring justice for all those that have died. Stay strong and god bless those who have passed away because of this man.

‎10 years, 2 wars, 919,967 deaths, and $1,188,263,000,000 later, we managed to kill one person. Worth it?
