(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Just today I came home and found my basement is flooded with 4 inches of water. This was caused by all the recent rain in the Midwest. The flooding is causing levees to break and overflow. My couches and other furniture are soaked and my controllers and headset are broken. The cleaners will not be able to be here until tomorrow so I will be working on cleaning it tonight:cry:. The one good thing is that I will now get a new carpet.

Has your house or a someone you know house ever flooded?

Never had a flood but I live in an apartment complex and one of the pipes in the apartment above us burst and shit tons of water were coming down through the ceiling. Luckily it wasn't too bad and nothing got destroyed.

Yeah my basement has, that's why I paid my contractor to make sure it never happens again. About 2" of water throughout.

Mourning Update:I tried to vacuum the water but it just will not stop coming in. There is just too much water in the soil that it keeps leaking in. I finally quit and I am now just waiting for the rain and water to stop.

I live in the midwest also, and I have flooded three times already. There is just so much water this year
