(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK so with the PSN being down and all and a 2CG Tourny coming up that I'm entered in, i've been analyzing all of the players and this is what I have come up with (I will explain more in detail if you ask why a certain player is rank as such):

1. Smoke (Hands down has most tools to deal with top tier characters, fastest projectile in game, second fastest teleport, only projectile parry and smoke away/towards = wins every zoning match.. i.e ice clone useless, spin for kung lao useless, relect for nightwolf useless)
2. Kung Lao (Spin is broken plan and simple, make spin like baraka's and drops 10 spots)
3. Nightwolf (Reflect, lightning, and shoulder are devestaing tools in right hands)
4. Sub-Zero (No, not because of Tom Brady, best zone in game, trouble with Smoke though)
5. Ermac (Juggle Master, IMO easiest character to main/master, slow start ups though)
6. Reptile (FPS tops all, can win almost all projectile wars, except against smoke)
7. Raiden (Power, tools, fastest teleport = RAPE... difficult to main though)
8. Liu Kang (Speed, speed, speed, need I go on?)

The above where what I think are going to be the most prevolent and successful characters in tournaments. The following are the worst characters in the game and should NEVER be used for any real tournament (if you need an explaination on these you shouldn't be playing MK9)

1. Sheeva
2. Baraka
3. Noob Saibot
4. Kratos (PS3 only)

I will happily justify my findings in greater detail such as juggle capabilites, risk, zoning abilites, start up, FPS (frames per second), so on....
