Hurah!
You won't find a NEW HDTV over 42 inches for under 600 bucks, unless walmart has like a super duper sale or something, and if you do, tell me please so i can order one.

A 32 inch, decent size tv, is what i use, cost me 700, mainly because it's a SONY, im sure you could find a DYNEX (cheap JAP shh) for lower, but obv their not as reputable as sony so, be wise on which brand you choose.

as for cap card, depends on the tv you get obv.

My brain hurts from this : Hauppauge HD PVR model 1212 or a Hava HD (I hear the Hava Doesn't Record in HD).

Update: Also, For The Hauppauge: It comes with a Arcsoft Total Media Extreme: updates to the Acrsoft TME applications are distributed by Arcsoft directly. The latest version of Total Media Extreme adds direct record support for the Sony Playstation 3/XBox360.
