Try make each line have the same number of words each line roughly cause when you have like 4 words one line and then two the next it ruins it.

Not bad, I'm writing a hip hop song at the moment, Immortal Technique stylee, may post it up when done.

I don't really get poetry though, if it doesn't rhyme then I swear it's easy :p Despite meaning a lot.
