Sense we had to get a lot of information on them I just picked Lebron. Please do not flame this. There wasn't much opinion put into this, more facts. So, try to put facts in your posts, and CnC.

MVP's, Scoring Titles, Championships
Lebron James currently has two MVP awards, which were back to back during the 2008-2009, 2009-2010 seasons. He earned his MVP's before moving to the Miami Heat. To many people though these MVP's meant nothing if he couldn't bring Cleveland a Championship.
Scoring Titles, Lebron James currently has one scoring title. Lebron has said that individual accolades do not matter to him as long as long as he can put his team in position to win the championship. Many times in Cleveland he got them to the playoffs, but could not with the championship.
Championships, Lebron James has zero. In his career with the Cavs Lebron could never bring home the gold and get a championship. Many times he got to the playoffs and even the finals, but never did they win it. They cruised through the regular season at times, even going on ten game winning streaks. But in the playoffs one great player can't carry a team, and on the cavs all there was only one great player. In Cleveland there never was a great opportunity to put good players around Lebron, there never was that one other player that could help them get past Boston, or the Lakers, and that is why Lebron Traveled.

"The Decision"
The Decision was a live TV event in which Lebron announced his decision to go to the Miami Heat. Many people put this off just as a big publicity stunt and said nothing good came out of it. The good that came out of it was the $2.5 million that was donated to Boys and Girls clubs across America.
The Miami Heat proved to be a new option for Lebron, a way out some say, a new begging, an escape, but to me it was what Cleveland could never give him, it was a good team. Miami had two other great players to go along with Lebron. Those three players took up most of the salary cap, but the player appeal of DWade, Lebron, and Bosh attracted many veteran players who would come play for cheap.
Miami was what Lebron always needed in Cleveland, but could never get. They were a team that had offense, had defense, and didn't need Lebron to carry them every night. They didn't need Lebron to put up a double double with thirty points just to win bye five. They were a team with a legit shot at the championship.
Miami was always what Lebron didn't need, Hate. In his moving to Miami many people started calling him out on it. Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, you name it, they called him out. They said he was a coward, they said they would have never done it; they said he broke his promise to Cleveland. Even long time Lebron fans were turned to haters, they burned his jerseys in the streets. During the season when Miami started to lose even more people started to hate on them, more so on Lebron.

Everyone criticized the Miami Heat for their poor performances against teams over .500. Many people said they were Heat fans were even saying they were Lakers/Bulls/Celtics “fans” now. that I know who at the begging of the season

“Winning”*

When the playoffs came around the Heat looked better then ever. The easily took the series against the 76’ers 4-1. Winning most of their games by double digits. Then they had to face the Celtics, the team that Lebron could never get past, the team they went 1-3 against in the regular season, the team many people thought would win it all at the begging of the season. The heat easily took the series 4-1, with Lebron James playing the best basketball he has all season. He scored the last 10 points of the final game, which captured the win for them. For Lebron it seemed to be closure for all the times the Celtics beat him in Cleveland. It proved that the decision he made was the right one, like he needed to beat the Celtics to prove that he could win.

After the game Lebron didn’t throw it in Cleveland’s face, he didn’t brag about it, he apologized. Showing that he was above all that drama everyone is causing, showing that he is sorry that he couldn’t bring them the title and that he was sorry he left the way he did. But he saw an opportunity to win multiple championships and he would be crazy not to take it.

I read it all :y: Good, factual information.

For all the people that say Lebron is a coward, they are dumb. Why wouldn't you go to a place where you could make more money, play with better players, have the opportunity to win multiple championships.

It's like saying I would rather work at McDonalds because they need me even though Company B is willing to pay me double.
