After seeing it and hearing its legal I decided to do a little research on it.

Salvia divinorum is a member of the Lamiaceae family, which makes it a relative of the mint plant. When properly prepared, salvia can be smoked in order to bring on incredibly intense, at times paralyzing, hallucinations. Most of these trips are short in duration, but very powerful and bizzare. All side effects of the plant are gone within an hour, and it doesn't show up on standard drug tests.

Depending on the amount of smoke inhaled, users of this may experience hallucinations on par in intensity with those caused by drugs like LSD or DMT. Since most users lose consciousness and drift off into a world of fractal shapes and green women as soon as they hit the pipe, it has not gained much popularity as a 'party' drug.

That's pretty dumb. Well, there's certain strengths of Salvia, but one hit and he was tripping that bad... idk. He might have just kept thinking shit and started to panic, thinking that the salvia caused it. I mean, it makes you trip, but for that long? lol

You rolled this shit in a joint and actually got high off of it? When i was reading about it i read you have to smoke it in a bowl and have a certain kind of lighter that burns at a certain tempature to really get high off it. No sure it its true or not but the article seemed legit.

I got high off of it with a reg lighter. Also why cant you smoke it like a joint.

I have no idea i read that shit like a few years ago i just remember it saying if you were to roll it in a blunt or joint it wouldnt serve the purpose. Either way for what it costs and how long you trip isnt worth it, ill just stick with smokin the buds
