(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well me and MBO and a few other people were talking today, and like everyone was confused about our figures of speech. Happy Ill post a few below :y:

Craic = Laugh, fun.
Knackers = Scumbags/Chavs
Gypos = Gypsies
Shift = Kiss/Snog
Fag = Cigarette
Banjaxed = Tired
Eejit = Idiot/Fool
Fella = A male person, or a boyfriend.
Getting Locked = Getting Drunk
Scuttered = Drunk
Tackle = kiss/ snog
Oats = get the ride/ having sex
Sham/ spice = Chav
Yoke = a thing/ object
Savage = good or bad
Tool/ muppet = Idiot
Sound = Reliable/ someone you get along with
Shades/ pigs = Police or in Ireland Gardaí
Grand= Fine or Okay
Well = Hello
Story= Hello
Whats the craic= Hello
Drain the spuds= Have a piss
Jaysus= Used when you are surprised

I'm from Liverpool and we also say : Fella, Gypos and Fags or Ciggies Happy
