The police are not bad people, they have their lives on the line protecting and serving the community. Could you possibly imagine what the world would be like if we didn't have police? Numerous crime, obsessive killing over little things, everything you have could be taken away by gun point, and lots of lives will be taken if there was not any form of police out there. I thank these people for doing everything they can in making the world a safe place.

Fire fighters do a dangerous job insuring the safety of civilians. They play a role most people would not take. Buildings on fire, imagine this: You are trapped in a buring building, the floor is about to cave in, and the only people who can save you, walk through the door and grab you, and take you to safety. The building is increasingly getting hotter as the fire spreads. He busts through a door to the window where you see a ladder from the firetruck. You are safe.

The military does the job of protecting the country from threats, or anything in that area. They go to war, to insure the safety of our country. They serve to protect. These guys risk everything, and I very much respect our troops.

I intend to join the Air Force when I graduate. Has been my dream for quite some time. I would love to serve my country, to protect our country and insure your guys safety.

Who's there when your hurt? Or someone has passed out? Or when someone has been hurt? These guys, they are there to help and insure to be there for your or someones medical attention. When your sick, you see a doctor. They help you get better. Doctors go beyond the line, and make sure you or someone is being seen to be treated. If you are badly hurt, like you have been in a car accident, Paramedics rush to get you to be seen by a doctor, and rush you into the ER. They do everything in their power to help you.

My brother is a firefighter and my grandpa was on military (WWII)

Much respect for them man. My grandpa and my great uncle, went to Vietnam. My grandpa was in the Air Force while my uncle was in the Army.

My dad is a paramedic (in England) Quite proud of him as he has worked on the Air Ambulance and is the Area supervisor for East Anglia (BIG job)

People always moan saying that football players get paid a shit ton of money and Soliders don't, well i disagree with that. I my opinion, Police, Firefighters and Paramedics should get paid higher than Soliders because they have to deal with shit everyday whereas it was a soliders choice to sign up for the army so why should they get paid the salary of a professional sports athlete when they knew what they were getting into?
