Me; I would never hit a women in the goal to hurt her. If she hits me I stop her from hitting me. It Just doesn't seen right for me to hit a girl out of anger (exception of rather big health consequences)

The only reason I wouldn't is because of the way society looks down on it, otherwise there's no reason not to. Double standards me thinks.

If it was a mean son of a bitch that was trying to kick the shit out of me, maybe. I'd try my best to just restrain, but that only goes so far. I wouldn't do it if say, she hit me in an argument, or out of rage that my football team lost (even though I hate football, just an e.g). The men who hit women for no reason are the biggest pussies ever.
