So the question is: Would you ever hit a girl?


Me; I would never hit a women in the goal to hurt her. If she hits me I stop her from hitting me. It Just doesn't seen right for me to hit a girl out of anger (exception of rather big health consequences)

There already are such organizations but they fail to reach most people.

And me telling you here on the internet is a contribution towards my perfect world, even if it is a very small one. Besides, this is a debating section, don't look down on me for calling others sexist in a thread revolving around what is whether you like it or not an outdated societal double standard that men should never hit women(whilst the opposite is okay).

I'm not looking down at you. It's your opinion, and you're completely entitled to it. If anything, I agree with you - The World would be a better place if there was equality.

I just don't really see your angle on this particular title. From what I've read, the only conclusion I can come to is you would hit a girl like she was a man... And I just can't really believe someone would feel that way.

Why do you feel differently? Because it makes logical sense? No. Because it's equality? No. Because it's an outdated societal double standard that your parent(s) have ingrained in you? Most likely.

It's true. But to limit it purely to my parents isn't correct. My whole environment has given me this "outdated societal double standard" you speak of. And it most likely has to the majority of people in this thread - hell, even this website.

But the matter of the fact is Mr Clutch Hunterr, you're a small ant in a World of giants. Complete equality hasn't existed before, and won't for a very long time. And even when it does, it won't last for long. The World you dream of isn't realistic.

I think you will find complete equality was completed in the western democracy decades ago. It is hard to admit but women do now have more rights then us men in society. The ironic thing is though it is men who continue and justify this trend. The majority of men are ignorant or blind to this and just hope it goes away.

It is now seen effectively a crime now to be born a male. A female will now always take priority and be seen as completely truthful, they are always the poor defenseless victim. Masculinity is seen as a bad thing in this society. It is clear to see this, take the that recent case of the opinions of a mans penis cut off and how it was so "hilarious", reverse that and cut off a women's clit. Not so funny now is it.

Ha my mistake. Well maybe an exaggeration with the "decades ago" part, a more specific figure would be 15-20 years ago. But is my definition of complete equality equal to yours? To me men and women were equal socially and legally at this point. Women and men could enter any occupation they wanted. People were no longer chosen for a job based upon their sex but their skills instead. That is what I believe complete equality to be. Maybe I should use the phrase "realistic equality" instead because their will always be differences between males and females that are unavoidable.
