(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); For those of you who don't know, District 9 is a new film set to release in August 2009. It's a documentary style film, although not a documentary, depicting a "real life" scenario in which non-human aliens crash land in Johannesburg, South Africa. The film shows the struggle of government segregation and regulation over-bearing on the aliens, and the sympathy/hatred on the human side. It's not a typical hollywood film in any sense.

This film could just end up being a total flop like other viral-advertised films in the past like "The Blair Witch Project" or "Cloverfield". Then again, it could be a total success, starting a cult following. I hope it's the latter.

(Happy "thyrsta"?)

This film looks like it's going to be really awesome in my opinion. It could also flop horribly, like Cloverfield or the Blair Witch project. I hope it's the ladder.

Don't you mean "the latter"? even so, that means that you wish that it would be the last one, in this case, flopping horribly like Cloverfield or the Blair Witch project.
This sounds like a really good movie though, and I can't wait for it to come out.

I love how little children point out someone's small mistakes in a fleeting chance to look intelligent. What was the point of that "thyrsta"? Congratulations though, you just made my shit list.

ANYWAYS, yes this film looks like it's going to be very interesting.
