The groan system has been changed, again. Due to the massive amount of bitching from members being groaned and the massive amount of misusing the groan feature, groans now produce -0 rep. Groans will also not show up on your rep wall anymore.

This is both a good and bad change....Good in the sense that it won't be abused. Bad in the sense that the kids who enjoy posting idiotic comments can now do so without any fear of losing their precious reputation. No

People groan for every reason. Take this thread for example, it has a groan on it yet nothing is wrong with it. Also if someone a person, they usually stalk their page to groan them back. Groans are abused way too much.

I dunno what to say anymore?
That will sort the misusing of the groan button but now there is no way to -rep someone. So will rep never go down now?

Post count doesn't go down so why should rep?

Yeah I get what you mean, it's just people won't be afraid to troll and post pointless stuff because there will be no or little consequences.
