I'm pretty sure some mod, or other members, are going to deem this thread as useless or pointless, but I think this is a well needed reminder to all; For before we act the way we do on here, let's think about what Outsider truly wanted before he started going inactive..

Well, yes, that thread was written over two years ago, but I think it still applies to us now. How many times do you remember being an asshole to other people in this community? Picking on nonpremiums because they are unable to donate, ignoring nonpremiums, making fun of people with less rep then you, acting like you are top dog compared to others when we are all supposedly equal, and some just goes as far as to intentionally troll a person for fun..
I think we should all think our involvement and role over again.. Let us not let our E-Web fame get in the way of our supposed democracy, let us not discriminate based on the color of user-names, let us open our arms to our growing community; For if we just reconsider all these factors, and follow what Outsider wanted, then we would be the best gaming community in the world.
Please keep this thread flame free, if you want to comment on your experience of discrimination or such, do not post other usernames. Thank you for your time
I hope NGU can go back to be the free loving community it once was. :hug:

.. This thread was from two years ago, we are already facked. Just read any thread from You must login or register to view this content. section. I actually don't post in certain sections anymore, just because of the flamming that goes on.
I also have to say that many staff members are assholes. Some helped me out a lot when I first joined, but some just don't care.

Let's face it, the admin love when premiums discriminate against non-premiums for the sole reason that they are not orange. It brings in cash for the site because they figure if they donate $10, they'll be in the inner circle and fit in with the rest of us. It's a great marketing ploy that is one of the main reasons we still are able to bring in enough money to function.

Lol that's exactly why I donated
I joined this site and came into the shout box and it was the first time I had ever been on a vBulletin forum and I was like Hello anyone there
And got no reply's
I was like why are people orange blue and red then one person answered (Mr. Wood :lol
and said donate 10$ to be premium then purple in sectional mod etc etc and then I tried talking to others but no-one answered lol so i bought premium then all of a sudden people would start talking and +repping you :lol:

The only new major thing that has changed with this site was Vb4. Outie said that we would be getting a homepage way before MW2. Then it was when MW2 was going to be released. Then when the update of Vb4 came he said that he will be working on the homepage and other stuff. I haven't seen it, or him. Sure, he has his own life. Understandable enough, he's at college or whatever and probs out with mate. But I'm sure it doesn't take almost 2 years to get a homepage, ladders and other shit. Other sites are offering more stuff for less the price when you donate. Many even run competitions WITHOUT having to pay to enter, like the last one with the Jtag Xbox.

They are working on a homepage. I don't know much about it but Gizmo did link me to a homepage it wasn't on nextgenupdate but it was on like some .co.be site and it looked ok but they are trying to get it to autoupdate when news is posted or something,
