"Metta World Peace." How does that sound? Well soon enough, that'll be Ron Artest's new name!
According to reports, Ron Artest has filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court to legally change his name to Metta World Peace. It was supposedly a very hard decision for Artest, who went through several iterations before settling on this new name! Artest gave his full list of names considered exclusively to All Ball. Check them out below!

Lol, why in the world do professional athletes change their names so often? /facepalm
This reminds me of Chad Johnson changing his name to Ocho Cinco, just because the NFL wouldn't allow him the wear it on the back of his jersey.
And was Artest really considering changing his name to Metta On A Sunday And My Heart Stood Still, De Doo Ron Ron Ron, De Doo Ron Ron Artest? That's 19 words. With a total of 60+ characters.
