They know where i live and shit, so i'm always watching my house just in case.
Anyways, just about 20 minutes ago i started hearing footsteps and what sounded like doors opening and closing. This would be pretty normal at my house at 4 AM, except for the fact that my brother is gone, my dad is at work, and my mom is asleep.
So me, feeling pretty beta at that moment, decided it would be best to wait at the staircase listening for noises or to see a shadow.
After listening for 5 minutes, i decided i needed to ask someone for advice on facebook, i chose the wrong person considering all they said was "Don't die"

All of a sudden, i felt alpha as ****. Got dressed, grabbed my bass guitar, and walked downstairs.

AND THERE WAS NOTHING.

On the serious note

If you a going to live in an area where you are hated you need to setup defenses.
1. Get a gun, not just any gun. Check out your local legal gun dealer, get advice on a good easy to use one that will give the needed penetration and low kick back. No you really don't need a mag, but would do well as an alt.
2. Go to the range, learn to use that gun. If you have no idea how it fires it is more dangerous to you than the intruder.
3. Get deadbolts for all doors and locks, use then nightly.
4. At every window, put something there. A desk, table, small book case anything that will slow or hamper entrance.
5. If needed setup the house so that intruders do not have an easy time getting around. DO NOT KEEP ANYTHING YOU VALUE VISIBLE.
6. Change the route you come and go from home, being predictable is dangerous.
