The irony of one of the police officers saying that he is in a federal area. That's an area where which all of his Constitutional Rights should be expressed and defended freely and without question. I'm surprised he didn't take action back from the police who threatened to search his things. Lack of search warrant much? They're putting in their own policy over the Bill of Rights, and it's a damn shame that for whatever reason, they have the ability to get away with this. This case should have been publicized far more for showing how corrupt America has become in the inside and how everything it stood for was just reversed in a single video-clip.

How shameful.

1. It's an Invasion of Privacy to those within the airport.

2. There are many people within the airport that will be filmed in the recording and he may not have permission to do so. This again is Invasion of Privacy.

3. Even though it's a Public Airport, he has no right to go and film within the airport, for one, has he got permission to film within the airport? I doubt it.

I laughed when I saw "Lack of search warrant much?"

A search warrant is not needed to search a member of the public, Police are pretty much Security, and Security are allowed to search you.

Not only that, but terrorism. A terrorist may film an airport for certain weaknesses or extremely crowded areas.

Regardless of my error upon that post and correction, the rest of my posts still stands.

Also, if that's the case, why does there seem to be a exception to paparazzi? I don't give a damn if it seems peaceful. There should be no exceptions. In addition, public filming has never been illegal, nor has it been shown to be an invasion of privacy unless by wrongful use which is not demonstrated here.

It's a public area, so there is no Invasion of Privacy. Also, you only need permission to film somewhere if it is a private area that isn't owned by the government, like shops at a mall or grocery stores. Also, they don't have the right to search you. If you refuse to be searched they do have the right to deny you access to the area though.

Within reason in the UK police have the right to search you, and I wouldn't imagine it to be much different in the US since alot of US citizens originate from the UK.
