Not just "people who don't smoke weed suck cause they cant have fun, what fags herp derp". I know this has been posted before, but it had some flaming and is an old topic. This one I think is also a little bit different.

Anyways, on with the debate. I think weed is bad because of a few things:

It's addictive. Once you try it and find out you like it, it will be very hard to quit. Once you start getting high, it's about all you will want to do, as well as eating a shit ton because you get the munchies.
It's as bad as smoking when it comes to affecting the lungs.
People who have fallen to the grasp of weed will try to take other with them. Most people who smoke weed will have other friends who smoke weed, but that's all they're friends for. If you smoke weed, and have friends that do too, I dare you to stop smoking with them and see who's still your friend.

My personal opinion about people who use weed is this: If you depend on a substance to get through the day, or consider that as your type of 'fun', get a real hobby, do something good in life. If you smoke it, and claim you're not addicted, then you're in denial, or do it just to look cool, but don't actually like it. Well, I got news for you: It doesn't make you cool or mature or anything; it makes you a lowlife pothead.

I'd be able to put up with people that take drugs(to an extent), however when it gets so bad all people do is talk about how cool drugs are etc it gets a bit much. If you take drugs and are f*cking up your life that's fine, just don't glamorize it so much that the young and impressionable that read your post(s) will want to follow you down that road. That's flat-out irresponsible.
