I dont know if a thead like this has been made already but this is a thread reguarding the Sony Playstation 3 vs Microsoft's Xbox 360 this console war has been going on for awhile and i think its time i mention why i believe the Playstation 3 (ps3) is better then the xbox 360 sure they both have cool features the other system does not have but there are reasons for that now to get this started

The Ps3 has alot to offer with free online with the option of playstation + for a small price of $50 you get free games early release tons of avatars free early demos and betas and access to exclusive content discounts and offers

that aside lets get a little technical first off the xbox 360's controller design is awful anyone aside from an Xbox fan boy would tell you other wise and even a few xbox fan boys i know fully admitted the controllers are bulk and kinda suck especially for fighting games like street fighter 4 and marvel vs capcom 3 and from person experience they do feel a lot better to play on ps3 and much more comfortable playing on the ps3, the xbox 360 also only uses disks that has a maxium of 8GB while ps3 games are on blu-ray disks with up to 75GB of memory capable of hold much more memory for games longer and hard and better graphics then the xbox 360 i do admit most games graphics are almost exactly the same but in all facts ps3 has better capabilities in the graphics department,

now lets talk other hardware we already covered the controllers now lets talk Kinect vs the Playstation move, i may not be a fan of the Xbox and personally dont like a lot of things about it but i must admit the Kinect is pretty cool i played Machiel Jackson the Experience and im not a very good dancer but i liked what was possible but the PS Move does not suck either like some of the xbox guys claims say we swing around a Di*k wand, well its extreamly accurate and much better then the wii controller using 1 to 1 tracking via Playstation Eye Camera (PS eye camera) but thats a bit of a downside the PS eye is a crappy camera all together and PS move could have been so much better if they made its own camera for it instead of going with the PS eye but either way its still fun to use and its very accurate making alot of games like high velocity bowling, and Dead Space Extraction very fun

Now on to the other subject of games, i feel the Playstation 3 has #1 more exclusives and #2 better exclusive xbox may have gears of war and halo the top 2 over rated games on the xbox, but we have Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Infamous, Heavy Rain, Resistence, Killzone, God of War, and the list goes on also the blu-ray disk prevents any type of scratches unlike the very easily scratched normal compact disk dvd that the xbox uses

Now lets talk in game reward systems. The Xbox 360 has achievements while the ps3 has trophies, trophies are far better then achievements because for 1 the trophy is clearly noticeable making a very nice bling/ding sound letting you know you unlocked while Xbox 360 gives you a slight notification that sounds like someone just got online like WTF you know how many people that tricked when they were trying to go for an achievement and someone signed in? i would know from personal experience and other people told me it happened to them, also you guys get like 10 20 30 40 50....100 g, we get simple bronze silver gold and platinum, bronze being the easiest (most of the time) gold being the hardest (most of the time) and Platinum being unlocked for getting all the other trophies in the game, xbox just has 1000 g, then they had the nerve to try and copy the ps3 but making their own little bootleg 100% achievement worth 0g are you serious? then they even went ahead again and put their bootleg platinum and gave it a value of 100g which is like a gold trophy in ps3 veiw, platinum trophies is on its own level and gives people on the playstation a great boost in trophy level percentage but on the xbox end of the day 100% is just 1000g excluding games with dlc

Now lets talk a little about the Xbox 360's good features well for #1 the xbox got games earlier then ps3 and usually gets zombies and other maps before the ps3 and thats for 2 reasons well #1 THE XBOX CAME OUT FIRST of course it will get classics like mortal kombat and sonic, golden axe ect. first and #2 reguarding the early maps is because MICROSOFT MAKES THOSE MAPS no duh they are gonna make us wait to get them so it seems like being a 360 owner is better. so #2 and #3 feature thats an xbox exclusive the xbox can play any music on your xbox during any game while the ps3 can only do it with some games and also the xbox has cross game chat and party chat which lets you talk to any of your friends while playing any games and this is because of 1 simple reason microsoft invented those things and they patented the technology forcing sony to ask for microsoft to use those features and of course microsoft said no in fear of the xbox having nothing exclusive

Well now that all of that is out the way i gladly present to you my debate on why i believe that the Sony Playstation 3 is all around a better system then Microsoft's Xbox 360 please no hating or groaning this is a clean thread as i was only stating my opinion with a decent amount of facts about both systems i gave it my all in this thread and it obviously took me a long time to gather up this information in my head in this way and type it up so please show me some love if you found this thread helpful and agree with me, if you do not i would like to hear your opinion but please no cursing or bashing thanks as i did not do that to your console of choice so please don't do it to mine.

and I know over 60 gamers in real life and over 200 total if you include my really close friends i met online and known them for over a few years i am also friends with a few pro gamers who all agree that ps3 controller is better to use and i like to keep up with people on my level so im very fimilar with a few gamer pros also other questions answered above in bold
