Well, this tutorial is going to help you with that. And it won't take but a second, and you are required to download stuff.

First things first you want to find an awesome font you want. Now, a very good website that can supply you with awesome fonts and they are also free, I'd suggest you go to the following website:

Now once your on the site, just browse around and find what you are looking for. They have many styles and categories to choose from, they have the current following categories:

And many more! So go check them out for yourself! Now, once you have picked out the font you want to try or download, click the download button for Windows if you have windows, and Mac if you have mac. Now you'll be able to see the Font previews before you download. :cool:

Now, when you click download and the download box comes up, I suggest saving the file to your desktop, because your going to need to move it as soon as it downloads. Now, once it downloads, do the following:

Now once you have it opened, go to Computer, and get on a screen thats looks like this:

Now, just click on the file you just downloaded, the .ttf file, which stands for TrueType File, now drag it on-to the C: drive and let go, and then the .ttf file should now be in the C: folder of your computer.

Now, go to your control panel: Once you've got into your control panel: go to: Classic view if your on vista > Fonts > File ( At the top of the window ) > Install a new font like the following:

Now, just click it!

Now a little screen should pop-up, the the font you downloaded, and click: "Install" - And their you have it everyone! You now have a new font on your computer!

FAQ:

Question: In my graphics program, I can't find the new font I installed.
Answer: This is because you downloaded and installed your font while you still had the program open. Just close your graphics program, such as Paint.net or photoshop, and then re-open it, and your new font will be installed!

Question: Can people see my new font if I use it as my username, post, or message in any text feild?
Answer: No, people cannot see the font you use unless they also have the font you are using installed on their computer.
